iPhone 6 Not Released in China Yet

The new iPhone 6 will not be released in China on the launch weekend. Naturally, this is not a decision that Apple took, as China currently is the largest smartphone market in the world.

The iPhone 6 is set to arrive in many countries on September 19. However, China will not be one of these countries, although the Chinese market is of great interest for Apple. Actually, China is extremely interesting for all smartphone makers, as it represents a market of millions of potential customers.

The issue which has banned Apple from making the release of its latest smartphone in China is actually linked to the regulations imposed by the Chinese government.

Reports reveal that Apple has not received yet the necessary approval from the Chinese government, to be able to launch its new product in this county. Apple currently has deals with three of the major carriers in China, including China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telcom, so all that the company needs is the approval to introduce iPhone 6.

The fact that Apple has not received this approval yet comes as a surprise. Last year, when the famous company launched the iPhone 5S, China was among the countries which received the smartphone on the launch weekend.

This means that something might have happened to change that. Moreover, everyone expected to see the new iPhone in China on September 19, including Apple stores.

It has been revealed that Apple stores in Beijing and Shanghai have already started to prepare for the sales of the iPhone 6. Moreover, it seems that store managers have not been announced that the smartphone will not be released in China yet.

Analysts say that most likely this delay will not last that long, although when it comes to the Chinese market nothing is certain. If the Chinese will have to wait until they will be able to buy the new phone, Apple fans in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong and Singapore will get the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in just a few days. Apple claimed that by the end of 2014, they hope to launch their new phone in no less than 115 countries.
