Continued from MariaDB and MySQL Workbench on Fedora 25 Part 1
5. Launch MySQL Workbench. If MariaDB is running, a Local instance is listed on the MySQL Connections. Double-click the instance and input the user or root password for MariaDB if you had previously set one.
6. The current version of MySQL Workbench displays a warning regarding compatibility with MariaDB. Click Continue Anyway.
7. Click Server Status on the left panel and verify the Version of the database instance.
For this example, 10.1.21-MariaDB Server is listed.
