Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 to be available at offline stores in India
In a bid to strengthen its offline presence, Xiaomi will start selling it's popular Redmi Note 4 in offline markets. The phone will be sold in over 1,5000 stores in the North, and over 700 large format retailers (LFRs) including Sangeetha, Poorvika, Lot Mobile and Big C across the South.
In South region, Xiaomi has already started taking pre-orders for the Redmi Note 4 from March 14 till March 17 across the LFRs, and will be available starting March 18. As for North, pre-orders will begin today via mom-and-pop offline stores in Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigrah, and go on until March 21. Sales will begin on March 22.
The base model of the Redmi Note 4 is priced at Rs. 9,999 online, but in the offline market it will sell starting at Rs. 11,499. Xiaomi also says that pre-orders for all of its products in future will be available in offline stores, as well.
To refresh your memory, the Redmi Note 4 specs include 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 chip, 13MP/5MP cameras, fingerprint scanner and 4100mAh battery. It is offered in three variants – 2GB RAM/32GB storage, 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage.
Xiaomi is also all set to disrupt the smartphone market once again, as it will launch new Redmi 4 series phones on March 20.
