WhatsApp has finally made a u-turn by bringing back the text status feature in the app latest update. Last month, Whatsapp removed the text status and replaced it with the photo and video-based status but since then there has been a lot of complaints by the users of the popular messaging app.

It’s good to be updated but this kind of Whatsapp update has generated a lot criticism in the sense that many people didn’t like the photo and video based status which expires after just 24 hours. As a result of this, Whatsapp didn’t have any option than to bring back the text status feature which people have been enjoying before.

How To Use Whatsapp Text Status Update

• Visit Google Play Store on your Andriod or Apple App store on your iOS and download the latest version of Whatsapp.
• Launch it and tap on the Settings option,
• Then click on “About and phone number” section and set a text status – just as you used to before.

Then you can begin to enjoy the Whatsapp text status feature.
