Samsung's The Frame TV transforms into a wall art

Samsung at the global TV launch event in Paris revealed details about its new innovation — The Frame TV. The Frame was first showcased at CES 2017, along the QLED TV series. The South Korean tech giant has always focused on premium design, be it electronic products or smartphones, and with, The Frame, it continues to focus on an innovative premium design.

The Frame was curated with an artful approach, meant to elevate any room or viewing environment, and is designed to be wall-mounted to display artwork. It looks like a picture frame hanging on a wall when "Art Mode" is on. Unlike conventional TV which fades into black when turned off, The Frame's display mirrors custom-designed digital art pieces, when the TV is not in use.

There are more than 100 art pieces to choose from, in multiple categories including landscape, architecture, wildlife, action, drawing and more to to display on The Frame. There's also numerous options for art layouts and colors, as well as customizable accessory options including interchangeable bezels that attach via magnets and an optional Studio Stand. 

The TV is equipped with Samsung's new Invisible Connection to hide cable connections (achieved by using thin optical wires and an external connection box) and No Gap Wall-mount, letting users to hang it anywhere, as it will seamlessly blend into any living space.

The Frame TVs will be available to buy this Spring in 55-inch and 65-inch variants. The price and specs are yet to be revealed.
