New UI for Play Store Top Charts showing up for some users
Just this month alone, a revamped UI, a new trending section, Netbanking support for India, changes to search results, and minor tweaks to app installations have all shown up for some users. In the latest change that hasn't shown up for everyone yet (myself included), the Top Charts lists have received a visual make-over.
The new lists do away with the spacing between cards, and more prominently shows the ranking of the top applications. Additionally, there is a new switch at the top to hide apps you already have installed.
I personally like this change, the gaps between cards wasted quite a bit of screen real-estate and the new design looks clean. I just really wish Google would publicly release all these new Play Store features, instead of testing each one with a limited amount of users.
