Apple Debuts New 15-inch MacBook Pro with Force Touch trackpad

Although in the last period of time Apple has been more focused on its iPhone and iPad lineup, it seems that the popular company has not forgotten completely about the MacBook. Apple has just debuted a brand new version of its 15-inch MacBook Pro, which actually added a much expected and interesting feature: the Force Touch trackpad.

What is so interesting about this feature is that the Force Touch trackpad uses the so-called haptic feedback to stimulate the sensation of a physical click. This is not the first time when this feature is added by Apple in one of its releases. In fact, it was present in the 13-inch MacBook Pro, when it has actually made its debut.

The Force Touch is well received, as this trackpad can actually detect the amount of pressure that the user applies to the surface and it actually delivers different results basing on that. However, the Force Touch is not the only new feature that this update brings. The 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro also features  PCIe-based flash storage, which actually provides up to 2.5 times the performance of its predecessor.

Apple also promises that now the battery life of the device will give users an extra hour of use. According to the popular company, users will now be able to enjoy 9 hours of web browsing or 9 hours of local iTunes movie playback. Users willing to get even more should find out that the top of the line $2,499 15-inch MacBook Pro also comes with discrete graphics, which is said to be 80% faster.

Apple also unviewed the 27-inch iMac desktop with a Retina 5K display. This is quite impressive, as well, as this display can house 14.7 million pixels. The price of this device starts at $1,999. The device comes with 3.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory and 1TB of storage. Users will find USB 3.0 ports on the device, as well as two Thunderbolt ports. Well, it surely seems that Apple thought of accessibility when releasing these devices, as the famous company also decided to lower the cost of the top-end iMac with Retina 5K to $2,299.

Both new Apple devices can be found in sale by those interested in purchasing such a product.
