The analyst is almost certain that this new product will become much popular than the iPad and the iPad mini, becoming the second in line after the iPhone, in terms of revenue.

Reitzes went on to explain that most likely the reason why the 64-bit A7 was released in the iPhone 5s is actually to sustain the development of new apps that would be able to take advantage of more than 4GB of RAM, an important requirement for the new device.

Developers have already benefited of the great performance of the A7 to release a series of advanced video and audio features which are not compatible with other processors. The future iOS powered notebook or the 13-inch iPad is in development, Reitzes claims, as another sign for this plan has already been revealed by Apple.

The company choose to make iWork free with all new iOS devices, which the analyst says that actually is an important sign for the introduction of the iPad on the notebook market. Reitzes says that the release of such a product is actually a must for Apple, whose revenues are in about 50 percent made by the sales of the iPhone.

Mac sales have gone lower with each year, so the company needs a change. The new 13-inch convertible iPad would be this change that Apple needs and an important increase on its sales. If Apple really has such a plan and the company is working to release this unique iPad model, is yet to be confirmed.

However, there also were some rumors which indicated that Apple has teamed with Quanta Computer to release a 12-inch iPad.
