Is this the Redmi 5 Plus? |
In addition, both the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus have received 3C certifications in China. The 3C certification of the said devices could be codenamed as MET7 and MEE7.
Also, a render of the alleged Redmi 5 Plus has appeared. It showed that it'll go w/ a 5.7 inch display w/ 18:9 screen aspect ratio for that near bezel-less design. The resolution is quite low at HD+ 1440 x 720 pixels only which translates to 282 ppi. Anyway, if that's the case, this will still be the biggest Redmi phone yet.
The rest of the specs and missing details are still cloudy for now. The expected price for the Redmi 5 is around CNY 699 to 899. On the other hand, the Redmi 5 Plus could retail at CNY 999.
