Huawei Honor WaterPlay With IP67 Water Resistance Now Official

Aside from the new Honor 7X smartphone, Huawei has also launched the Honor WaterPlay, a rare kind of table that's comes w/ IP67 water and dust resistance. It simply means that you may submerge this tablet in up to 1 meter of water up to 30 mins.

The Honor WaterPlay is also one of the few Android powered tablet equipped w/ pretty capable specs. It features a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 screen, in front and 64 bit Kirin 659 chip paired w/ Mali T830 graphics inside.

It's coupled w/ ample 3 GB / 4 GB RAM for multitasking and 32 GB / 64 GB expandable internal storage. Then it has pretty large 6,660 mAh battery paired w/ an 18W fast charger via USB Type C port.

You'll also find an 8 MP main camera, a secondary selfie shooter of unknown resolution yet, WiFi, optional LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and fingerprint sensor in front. It boots w/ Android 7.0 Nougat OS w/ EMUI 5.1 skin on top.

The tablet measures at 248 x 173 x 7.8 mm and weighs at 465 g.

It will be available in silver and champagne gold colors in China on October 24. The WiFi only 3 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM version is priced at CNY 1,999 (PHP 15K) and the WiFi only 4 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM will retail for CNY 2,399 (18.7K).

Then if you want the 4 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM edition w/ LTE, it is priced at CNY 2,699 (PHP 20.1K).
