HMD Global Confirms Oreo Update For Nokia Phones This December
The GM of HMD Global for Australia and New Zealand just confirmed that 3 Nokia smartphones will get an Android 8.0 Oreo upgrade by the end of the year.

Juho Sarvikas, the Chief Production Officer at HMD Global also confirmed this news in Twitter. This is in-line w/ Nokia's plan of bringing timely updates to their devices always.
The Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 that arrived w/ a near stock version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box are expected to receive the Oreo update sometime this December.
HMD Global also promised automatic updates for the Nokia 8 flagship. The timetable for Nokia 8 Oreo update isn't just clear for now.
In case you missed it, the Android 8.0 Oreo update brings a revamped overall experience in UI, performance, optimization, security, camera quality, and audio. It also has new emojis to play around with.
