Oppo R11, R11 Plus with Snapdragon 660 gets certified by TENAA
Oppo has already confirmed that the company will launch the flagship R11 soon, which is the successor of the popular R9. Like 2016, the company's focus in 2017 will be on the camera department, that has helped the smartphone maker, reach the top five chart. The recently launched Oppo F3, F3 Plus and Oppo A77 were all camera-centric smartphones.
Today, Oppo also confirmed that, the Oppo R11 will be equipped with Qualcomm's latest mid-range Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform. The Snapdragon 660 chip, brings some of Snapdragon 820's best features at budget to offer high-end performance, while keeping the cost of the device low.
Meanwhile, Oppo R11 and its big brother R11 Plus also received TENAA certification in China, revealing the design and complete specs.
It will also support expandable storage, dual-SIMs (via hybrid dual-SIM slots), 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2, and run the latest Android 7.1.1 out of the box.
The Oppo R11 Plus on the other hand will comes with a bigger 6-inch Full HD display, 6GB RAM and beefy 3880mAh battery. The rest of the specs are same as Oppo R11.
Oppo is yet to reveal an official launch date of the Oppo R11, but since, the devices have passed TENAA certification, an announcement can be expected soon, which according to rumors is early June.
