HTC U11 Presents Edge Sense and a Fast Processor
HTC has released these days the new U11. Unfortunately, this new phone comes with no headphone jack.
A phone has to be people’s best friend. That is why we need a phone that suits our needs on an everyday schedule.
Phones have to be powerful enough to support multitasking, especially for business users, but also have to be suitable for a smooth web browsing experience.
On the other side, a phone also needs to be suit up to run high-end games, dedicated to young users who want to play their favorite games.
These days, a new phone came on the market that promises to be a good companion. We are talking about the new HTC U11. This new phone also comes with an interesting new feature.
The new squeeze sensor is the main attraction that the company added since Motorola’s twist-to-launch camera.
This new sensor is both useful and compelling. The new HTC U11 will be launched on June 9 and it will be available on Sprint.
This new device will probably be the next low-budget attraction. Let’s start with the design. So, this new phone looks like a U Ultra phone, especially if we look at the glowing paint design. Moreover, it measures 6.05 x 2.98 x 0.31 inches.
This means that the new HTC U11 cannot be hold in one hand, exactly like other competitors on the market, for example the famous Apple iPhone 7 Plus.
The reason why HTC opted for a wider body is because it wanted to go for a more conventional 16:9 aspect ratio. So, the new HTC U11 comes with a 5.5-inch screen and features a 2.560 x 1.440 LCD.
There is nothing bad about this screen, being a common display like we commonly find on many other devices.
To be added that below the screen users will also find a fingerprint sensor. The company claims that its new device is also IP67 water resistant.
The screen comes with a Gorilla Glass 5. Under its chassis, customers will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, accompanied by 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.
To be added that there is also a memory card, which means that users will be able to expand the phone’s memory storage.
As for the battery, the new HTC U11 comes with a 3.000mAh battery. It is a little bit smaller for the phone’s size, but the good thing is that it also has a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
The new HTC U11 will be available in three colors: black, blue, and bluish-silver. But, as we mentioned earlier, the best thing about the new HTC U11 is the squeeze sensor.
This sensor is also called the Edge Sense. To be more explicit, customers need to know that approximately on two-thirds of each side of the phone there is a pressure sensor. At the moment, this sensor launches an app.
But, customers will be able to customize the feature to launch any other app or “OK Google.” For example, for the camera app, customers can squeeze the sensor to take a photo.
