HTC Vive Launched in India for Rs. 92900
HTC Vive
HTC had partnered with the well-known game manufacturer Valve, which is known for its ever so popular games like Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Portal, etc. and it’s Steam digital distribution system and that is the reason why it was so hyped up.
A hardware update at CES 2016 saw it re-dubbed the HTC Vive Pre, but at this year’s MWC HTC went back to the simple Vive moniker for the final consumer edition.
Now after all the drama, they have finally decided to launch this VR gaming headset in India for a price tag of Rs 92900. The same product is being sold for a price of $799 USD (Rs. 51,000) in the United States via the Microsoft Store.
The HTC Vive will come with two packages included in the purchase:
The Everest VR: which allows the wearer to experience what it feels like to climb Mount Everest through a sequence of immersive first person locations as you strive to reach the top of the world
Richie’s Plank Experience: Take an elevator to a plank that sits 80 stories high above the ground, then dare to walk to the end! An experience made for first-time VR users.
