DSTV Subscription Fee To Increase From May 1st, 2017

Despite the economic recession in Nigeria, South Africa owned Company Multi-choice has declared their intention to increase the subscription fee of their popular cable network. According to the message sent to all DSTV subscribers, the increase will take effect from May 1st, 2017 and will affects both DSTV and GoTV users.

Below is the message from DSTV;

"Dear DStv customer, due to a price adjustment, your Premium package fee has changed from N13,980 to N14,700 effective 1 May 2017."

Meanwhile, some users of the popular cable network have been expressing their dissatisfaction towards this DSTV reaction on Twitter. While some user claimed that DSTV are only taking the advantage of monopoly in the market.
