Moreover, the new Huawei Watch 2 is also an excellent fitness tracking device, with capabilities that can compete with any other device.

However, this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have some downsides. Like many other smart watches on the market, the new Huawei Watch 2 is also facing some common problems.

For starters, its design isn’t really suited for dressing up, for women in general. Moreover, even if it runs on the improved Android Wear 2.0, it is still a not so great platform, offering a finicky users experience and a steeper learning curve than Apple’s WatchOS.

However, adding some fitness tracking features is a huge plus for the new Huawei Watch 2. Unfortunately, its battery life suffers when tasked with Fitbit duties.

Customers should know that the company hasn’t yet announced pricing or a release date, but we think that there is a matter of days until Huawei will release it.

Until then, let’s find out more about the new Watch 2.

Customers will be able to opt for different color options: Carbon Black, Concrete Grey and Dynamic Orange.

The one thing that these models have in common is the distinctly sporty aesthetic.

Nothing screams more sports than Dynamic Orange or Concrete Grey. Moreover, these models come with a textured plastic strap, which feels a little bit cheap to the touch. On the other side, the Carbon Black version is more subtle, but customers will have to buy a nicer strap to comfortably wear it to a formal event.

Unfortunately, women that want to buy the new Huawei Watch 2 should know that there is not possible to make this device work with an elegant dress. Another interesting thing to know is that the new Huawei Watch 2 comes in Classic and Porsche Design versions.

The Porsche Design comes with red stitching in its leather band and an engraving Porsche logo situated on the bezel.

On the other side, the Classic model can be found in Titanium Grey, and offers more piston-style buttons, larger numbers on the bezel, and a leather strap.

Every model has an AMOLED display that measures 1.2 inches and features a 390 x 390 pixel resolution.

This means that it has a pixel density of approximately 326 pixels per inch. Moreover, the new Huawei Watch 2 weighs 2.08 ounces, which is approximately the same as the Apple Watch Nike+.

Customers should know that the new Huawei Watch 2 is very comfortable to wear when working out, and it doesn’t get snagged on jacket sleeve.

The company claims that this watch is rated IP68 for water resistance which means that people can wear it while doing dishes or washing their hands. Unfortunately, the new Huawei Watch 2 cannot be worn in the pool.
