Reports indicate that the tech giant has already instructed retail store employees to send customers to the company's online shop.

Fans who plan on buying this new product should know that preorders of the Apple Watch are set to start on Friday. This means that starting with Friday, Apple's smartwatch will be available online or by reservation in Apple stores beginning with April 24.

Apple claimed that the preferred method of making the purchase is online ordering. Moreover, it seems that the famous company sustains this buying method for the 12-inch MacBook with Retina Display, as well.

"The days of waiting in line and crossing fingers for a product are over for our customers. The Apple Store app and our online store make it much easier to purchase Apple Watch and the new MacBook. Customers will know exactly when and where their product arrives," an alleged leaked internal memo said.

"This is a significant change in mindset, and we need your help to make it happen. Tell your customers we have more availability online, and show them how easy it is to order," it added.

Allegedly, the email was sent by the famous company's CEO, Tim Cook, who wanted to thank all employees for their hard work put into the launch of the Apple Watch.

It has been claimed that the launch of this new product can be particularly stressful for employees, who will have to adopt a whole new sales strategy for the Apple Watch.

Well, the new strategy is quite curious, mostly for Apple. The famous company has always encouraged customers to visit retail stores and discover some of the company's newest products.

Now, rumors indicate that customers won't be able to buy the product from a store, but will be sent to the company's sites to make the purchase. Employees will encourage customers to place their orders online, explaining customers why this would be a great idea.

However, this new strategy might make many customers frustrated. Many people would want to be able to buy the new product directly from stores after checking it out.

However, there might be a good side to this, as online purchases mean that customers will no longer be in the situation of spending hours waiting in line to get the new product.

How to buy the Apple Watch?

So, starting with Friday customers on nine markets: US, UK, Canada, Australia, China, France, Japan, Germany and Hong Kong, will be able to make an appointment to a nearby Apple store and check out the new watch. After that, they will be able to order one of the three models available, or reserve a pick-up date. Of course, an Apple employee can assist customers throughout the entire process.

Allegedly, the reason why Apple decided to implement this new strategy is actually linked to the company's need to make sure that its supply will meet the demand during the first days of purchase.

As anticipated, Apple's supply is limited and the famous company is expected to have great sales of this new product. This means that Apple expects the demand to be high and is very aware of its own supply chain constrains.

The Apple Watch will be available in three varieties. Of course, this includes the entry-level sports version, the midlevel Apple Watch and the luxury Apple Watch Edition. The price for the new device starts at $349 and goes up to $10,000 for the gold model of the product.

How these products will be received on the market and if people will be interested in Apple's latest release is something yet to be found out. However, the pressure is huge as the Apple Watch is the first new product lineup released by the tech giant after the death of late CEO Steve Jobs.

Tim Cook managed to shock before with the release of iPhone 6 and its amazing success, so the famous company might be able to shock once again.
